BRUGES, BELGIUM Images from productions of Die Tote Stadt 1974 Bruges was a center for English romantics during the 1800’s It spawned an art movement called Symbolism, and a number of writers and painters worked there including novelist George Rodenbach, Maurice Maeterlinck, painters Ensor, Knoph, Redon and countless others.

PARIS TURN of the CENTURY (from productions of Margo La Rouge, La Boheme) Finding buildings that remain untouched by time is a challenge in

Paris today. In the early 1980’s it became an adventure, and I was surprised how many images from it’s past remained.
